The Story of our Company
In Greek mythology, “GAIA” or Mother Earth was the origin and nurturer of all life. The name perfectly captures the company’s ethos: to protect, to sustain, and to create harmony between industry and the environment.
The company started in November 2016, two long-time colleagues and friends, Tim Carsley and Stephen Piper, created GAIA Packaging Solutions. Their careers included working in complex, fast-moving distribution environments and from this standpoint they identified an opportunity and requirement in how businesses could transform their packaging — not as an afterthought, but as a crucial pillar of sustainable logistics.
GAIA began as a mission-driven venture: to deliver intelligent, sustainable and reliable packaging solutions that minimize environmental impact without compromising performance.
Central to GAIA’s growth has been its ability to build and maintain genuine partnerships. Establishing a network of likeminded professionals across all facets of packaging.
